After our first detailed conversation, I aim to have a usable first version ready in about a week. You try it with real work, we talk, and I make changes.

Your team opens it in a browser, on a computer or phone. I handle hosting and routine maintenance, and we can improve it as your needs change.

I charge for my time. Your private project page shows what I worked on, the time spent, and the running total. We agree the scope and any spending limit before work starts.
Building your software
€40 / hour
A small project can take as little as 10 hours — €400 at this rate. After our first detailed conversation, we agree what to tackle first and estimate the work involved.
The first conversation is free. After that, understanding the workflow, building, changes, and testing use the same hourly rate.
- Actual time recorded, with a description of the work.
- A working version early, with feedback along the way.
- Your code and data, with access and a handover if you leave.
Keeping it running
€180 / 6 months
Paid in advance. Includes €6/month hosting, backups, updates, and small routine maintenance.
- The first 30 days of hosting are included.
- I aim to reply within 3 days. I work alone.
- Larger changes are logged at the agreed hourly rate.
Try it in your business for a week. Before the trial, we agree exactly what the finished work will cost. If it isn’t worth that price to you, you can walk away and pay nothing for the development.
When does the maintenance fee start?
The first 30 days run from the day I set up your hosting. If your trial has not finished by then, I cover the gap until you decide. After that, maintenance is billed for six months at a time.
What counts as extra work?
Tiny routine fixes are included. If a requested change takes more than five minutes, I log the actual time. Small amounts can be combined with your next invoice; I do not round a short change up to a whole hour.
What if something breaks?
Contact me directly. I aim to respond within three days, but cannot promise immediate help or round-the-clock availability. We should discuss any workflow that cannot wait before making it depend on me.
What if I want to leave?
After you have paid for the work, you have access to your code and data, and another developer can take over. Unused time in a prepaid six-month maintenance period is not refunded. If you decline the initial trial, I switch off the service after arranging the return of your data.
Can you look after our public website too?
Yes, where it fits the same hosting setup. Building or moving the website is hourly work; it need not add another recurring hosting fee. We can discuss email hosting too, including the migration and support you need.

I’m Greg, an engineer with more than ten years of building custom software for myself and others. I enjoy understanding how a business works and making useful tools for the people running it.
AI is how I work. It helps me build and change software quickly, making small, highly specific projects practical. Your software only needs AI inside it when that actually helps.
I work independently. You talk directly to the person who listens, builds, and looks after the result. If I don’t think I can make something useful for you, I’ll say so.
